ACCOUNT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Account terms and conditions are standards set by mybottlereturn.com, agreed to by account holders upon signup, that regulate safe and appropriate account usage. mybottlereturn.com allows you to conveniently drop off your empty bottles and cans at our main site or dropbox near you to be counted by our staff. The following terms and conditions apply to all accounts. We are committed to using best efforts to accurately count containers. If you believe the number of containers submitted to us was incorrectly counted, please contact customer service. We are not responsible for miscounts or delayed counts when customers violate the following terms and conditions. Repeated violations of these terms and conditions could result in closure of your account with or without notice.

For our Dropbox service, only our plastic bags are accepted for counting of your submitted bottles and cans. If other types of bags are dropped off, we may refuse to credit the account for those bags.

A roll of 10 bags costs $2.00. Your first 5 bags are free.

A $0.30 processing fee is charged for each bag that is processed.

You will only be credited for every NYS deposit-carrying containers. Please refer to the label on the container to verify container holds 5¢ deposit value. It is unlawful to redeem containers that were not bought in New York State.

All containers must be empty of liquids and be in a reasonable, sanitary condition to be accepted. Bottles or cans cannot be crushed and a label indicating NY 5¢ deposit value must be attached.

Bags with submitted containers may not contain garbage/trash. Any bio-hazards such as dirty diapers, syringes, spit/chew, or other biological substances will be cause for immediate termination of the account.

There is a 20-pound weight limit for each bag. Please make sure the bag is securely tied.

Don't overstuff bags and please, mix glass bottles with plastic and aluminum containers to avoid a hazardous issue with handling of submitted glass containers, which tend to easily break.

You personal tag must be attached to the top portion of the bag in order for you to be properly credited. We will make every effort to locate torn bags owner, if we are not successful, bags content will be donated to the organization of our choice and your account won't be credited.

Please allow up to five days for bags to process and credit into your account. In the event we are unable to process a bag and credit your account in a timely manner, we will provide a bag credit based on recent activity in your account.

There is a limit of one active bottle drop account per person.

Key fob given to you is the property of mybottlereturn.com and is not transferable, must be surrendered upon request.

mybottlereturn.com management reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change fees associated with accounts or other services at any time. Best efforts will be made to notify all customers and account holders of any changes.

Your membership can be revoked at any time for any malicious or fraudulent activity. We strive to do business in good faith. Please contact us if you have any issues or concerns.

At our sole discretion, we will replace the defective bag(s) or refund the purchase price for the manufacturer’s defects within the first ninety (90) days from date of purchase. You may request a refund by emailing info@mybottlereturn.com, stating the specific account and purchase you wish to refund. Our warranty policy is valid for the original purchaser only.
By signing up for a mybottlereturn.com Account, you signify your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use a mybottlereturn.com Account. Your continued use of mybottlereturn.com Account following the posting of changes to these terms will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
